Our music program is offered to persons of all ages. Rehearsal time is spent learning anthems, special music and service music and hymns. Necessary explanation to be a functional member of any group is part of normal rehearsals. This means that previous musical experience or music reading ability is helpful, but not necessary to have an enjoyable experience both in practice time and in the services for which the music is offered as a shared gift.

One exception is our instrumental ensemble. Instrumentalists who want to participate in this church band need to have approximately three years previous experience in school band or orchestra, or equivalent training through private lessons. Occassional afternoon concerts or Sunday evening programs are also a part of our worship arts ministry, as well as periodic and regular appearances for 10:55am Sunday Worship.

Ensembles offered, with directors and normal meeting times are as follows:

1. Youth Choir: Grades 6-12.
Meet Wednesday evenings after church supper from 6:30-7:15pm ion the choir room.

2. Chancel Choir: Adults 18 years and above.
Meet Wednesday evenings after supper and program time from 7:30-8:45pm in the choir room.

3. Handbells: Older children and Youth.
Meet Wednesday evening before church supper from 5:00-5:45pm in the choir room.
Director- Jan Baker

4. Chancel Bells: Adults 18 years and above.
Meet Sunday afternoon from 5:30-7pm in the choir room.
Director – Jan Baker

5. Instrumental Ensemble/Church Band: Any age with 3 or more years experience.
Meets periodically on Sunday afternoons from 5:00-5:15pm in the Fellowship Hall. Bring instrument, wire music stand, and reeds, oil, etc. We do not meet every Sunday in order to coordinate our program with children youth, scouts, and other church-wide activities.
